All the Fuel-Saving Devices that do nothing but rip you off

Perpetual motion machines, fountains of youth, and fuel saving devices all fall into the same category: Opiate for the masses. They are all urban myths and legends with absolutely no basis in reality, yet countless thousands if not millions of motorists spend their hard earned money every year on a mind-boggling array of useless gadgets in the expectation that the hype is indeed true, and that this investment will pay off to minimize their ever expanding fuel budget. The bottom line is that none of these costly and over hyped devices do anything at all but rip off the unsuspecting motorist whether they ride a motorcycle, drive a car, an 18 wheeler or a tractor.
The U.S. E.P.A. (Environmental Protection Agency) has evaluated many of these devices and has come to the conclusion that most of them are not worth a plugged nickel. Absolutely none of them have shown to have any beneficial effects in fuel consumption and many of them can actually diminish performance, drop your MPG, and can even severely damage your engine and drivetrain components. Heck, at least he did apologize at one point for being rude and he didn't threaten your life or genitalia, so you've been on the much milder end of the spectrum. They never offer any real proof as there isn't a single shred to support any of their wild eyed theories. All they're trying to do is make a buck by pushing useless junk and they get very irate when anyone points out that there is absolutely not one iota of factual basis behind their hysterical hype. I guess it was pretty mild. Geez these crooks get my goat. I posted a similar thread to my blog and copped a big serve off another one of these "Experts" the other week. He tried to belittle me, but I think both his brain cells clashed and it was pretty pathetic to see him claim that as his product had been on CNN he had positive proof. I don't know about you but I think the Australian comedy about CNNandNandN painted a fair picture of their idea of the truth.
The bozos at CNN who do "features" couldn't find their butts with both hands and a flashlight. A couple of months ago, I saw some fluff piece on some Southern yahoo good ol' boys who had this "mysterious" new technology that let their stock car run a zillion miles on eight drops of squirrel pee. CNN ran a three minute feature without ONCE asking how the damn thing worked, or looking under the hood, or having any rational automotive engineer comment on this. What a bunch of idiots!
Thats a nice advice for helping our planet, to make it more eco friendly. In regards to the care of vehicle i would say - do proper tire inflation, tune-up, oil change and please don’t leave your vehicle idling for long periods of time and FUEL CONDITIONING. Every one can Increase Fuel Efficiency ++ Reduce Carbon Footprint if they are using good fuel conditioners..http://www.fuelconditioner.org

How can Hal say that ALL of the fuel saving devices out there don't work.? There are hundreds if not thoudsands of fuel saving devices out there. I wonder if Hal has tried them all for him self?
With fuel saving devices, just like with cars, computers, microwaves, shoes, energy dinks, ect. accually everything you buy, some things work better then others, some don't work at all, others work great.
I my self have 5 different fuel saving devices on my car and they all work great.
I have Magnets, and I did buy 3 different brands of them before I found the brand that works.
I have a air intake vortex generator as well and the fourth brand I brought is the one that works the best on my car. The other two worked ok. but not as good as I hoped they would, one brand didn't work at all.
The ones that didn't work I sent back and got my money back.
I also have special spark plugs, the ones I am using are a second brand that I tried.
I have a high performance air filter, with this one I guess I was lucky, the first brand I brought worked great.
And finally I have Voltage Stabilizer (the one that you plug into your cars ciggarette lighter socket)
I brought 4 different brands of them and out of those four I only got a good result with two of them, so I sent the other two back and got my money back. I kept the two that work on my car.
I checked the EPA list provided on this site and did not see the name/brand of any of the 5 devices I got on my car. I saw the names of couple of the ones that I have returned.
If any one wants proof, they can e-mail me and I'll let them know which devices and brands work, I know this due to trial and error. All of the devices that work, according to me YOU might say, come with money back garantee.
